"She is so spoilt"
Nope! For a change, this time, it was not about me. But that statement did take me to a lot of places I am yet to leave. I am quite familiar with this feedback. How many times have I listened to this? And its the people who brought me up who had to take the heat. In almost all the cases, straight to their face.
But whenever I take a trip back to my younger years... as far as my poor memory would permit me... All I can see is.. parents(including brother) struggling to groom me into this socially acceptable person. They have tried all in the books... I can vouch that I was neither pampered nor spoiled... Yet I turned up the way I am...
Sigh!
