Inadequacies of Language

I normally get excited over concepts like 'inadequacies of language'. But...
3 consecutive days
3 different people... probably the only people I interacted with on that particular day!!
4 different scenarios

Thanks to my lack of understanding of grammar & constructs.... Nobody understood what I was saying.

Now that I am aware of this shading in me... I can see the amount energy spent behind each one of my interactions... People do not understand me... the explanation loop just goes on & on & on...

Maybe its time I went into a MaunaVritham to save this world from unwanted brain transactions & energy expenditure. And it starts.................................

Sigh!

Yes! I am in trouble for life. I cannot communicate with fellow human beings. All I can do is fun talks. When I have to communicate.......

Ya ya ya... I too can hear that flushing down sound in the background!!!!

Mother of Creativity?

Me {while savoring a donut}: How do people come up with these kind of ideas for snacks?
She {in a matter of fact tone}: A desperate mother's attempt to feed her child!

When I looked back at that half bitten donut, I couldn't agree more... Yes! Some mother... Some period of time... would have decided to go creative with the bread to feed her child!! So... true!!!

Mauna Vritham

He : I am practicing Mauna Vritham.... To even out the overdose of lachu kutti effect.

For 2 consecutive days, we had to interact with each other in the real world. I agree my decibel levels are high... But.... Its been 12hrs since this comment & I still am not sure on how to take this @@

Dosha Guidelines

Following up on my previous post on Doshas....

I got this sheet from a1000yoga while I was attending their workshop on Doshas.

Vidhyarthi Bhavan

Who knew... that today morning I would be sitting in this small place & actually enjoying chow-chow bath!! We ordered every single dish available here & actually enjoyed every bite of it. Yes! Like all malayalees, I am not a huge fan of the Kannadiga version of Sambar. In spite of that, I enjoyed it.

As I ceremoniously lick my fingers.... I realize.... it was not just the food... It was the whole package!!

Today morning the city looked beautiful. The light shower on the way added to the feel. The vibe at Vidhyarthi Bhavan... the people there... The efficiency of the staff there. Aaah! The staff!! They simply amazed me. They do not write any thing down. The volumes of customers they have to handle is huge & chaotic. YET.... they do not get mixed up with the orders... nor are there any delays... not even a billing goof up.... I wouldn't say this was the first time I am admist such a scene... But today... I was completely mesmerized.... :-)

Psst! Big Bro... I would like to goto this place again... with you.... :-)

Know your Doshas, Know Yourself

She : So, what Dosha am I?

Knowing your Dosha helps you chose external entities which is wholesome, balancing and aids your physical  & emotional well being. When I talk about external entities, it could be anything from food to your workout regime.

I am attaching a simple sheet that would help you determine your Dosha. I got this sheet from a1000yoga while I was attending their workshop on Doshas.

Note : Please do not to be too harsh on yourself while filling this up. Be truthful, be honest. Each aspect listed here should be reflecting the major part of your life. You hair might have thinned out during last few months. But how was it during the major portion of your life? That is what is going to matter here.

Occupied

He : Are you occupying your day with things? In a way it is good, you do not get time for wasteful stuffs. But you do need to give space for relax time too. I too do that, occupy my day with to-dos. Years of conditioning & now my body is used to that pace.

This conversation felt more like a 'talking to self' than a pep talk to demonstrate the importance of slow time in life.

Disposed Day

Kiddo {in her eureka moment voice}: Amma.... Tomorrow is your disposed day, isn't it?
Me {completely zapped}: What do you mean by disposed?
Kiddo {taking time to think & pronounce}: Is it disposed or di-vor-ced?

And I roll of floor laughing.... At some levels, those two words do have some similarity or the other ;-)

Tomorrow is not the disposed day, its the anniversary day!
