Aadithya Hridayam

Got to know about this hymn though my enlightened friend. He was talking about Sun worship. I decided to find out more about the concept and I did find a good bit of information in Wiki. Youtube does have a couple of entries for Aadithya Hridayam.

I feel in love with this particular line ....

Tamoghnaaya himagnaaya shatrughnaaya amitaatmane {Salutations to he transcendental atman that dispels darkness, drives away all fear, and destroys all foes}

I loved the "destroys all foes" part. Wish he would do the same to my ego & allow me to shed a few pounds from the inner me .........
