Kiddo {in her happy chirpy self}: I will never miss you
Me {puzzled at the mismatched tone & statement, though they would have been true individually}: Duh??
Kiddo {immediately sensing something wrong}: No... Oh! No... What was that?
Me {what was what}:????????
Kiddo : Oh! Yea!!! I will never forget you.... :-)

And she walks away after a peck on my cheek.
