Help will always be given to those who ask for it

Kiddo : Can I have.....
Me {losing it even before she could complete her line}: Can I have, Can I have, Can I have. How many can I haves have you said in the last 10mins? 3 can i haves? Instead of adding more to my task list, have you ever thought of how you can help me? Have you ever thought of asking me, How you can be of help to me? All you are interested in is 'Can I have'. When are you going to understand the concept of Can I give???????

Yes... It was a frustrated me bursting out. But... I was pretty much impressed with the outcome. Soon after this outburst, Kiddo watches me struggling to get things done. She walks up to me & asks...

"How can I be of help to you?"

Thanks to that outburst, Kiddo has been extremely accommodative these past few days. I wouldn't have pulled through if she wasn't there to support me.
